CAROLYN ESPINOSA

I’m a 3rd year student at UC Davis studying biomedical engineering with research interests into the electrophysiology of memory and brain stimulation to eventually explore neural circuitry and brain-machine interfaces. My goal as an engineer is to be technically innovative and my curiosity for the brain pushes me to explore neuroscience. I’m excited to effectively assist in the lab’s ongoing research projects including working with Ana to understand the role of event segmentation in memory processing through a continuous narrative. Outside of academics, I love to travel, try new foods, play soccer, hike, wildlife watch, and read a wide variety of books.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I’m very passionate about our planet and sustainability :) I was the president of an eco-friendly intervention club at my high school for two years.
